Chapter 5-Ten Years Earlier

All right. So, If he went down this corridor, the only escape would be on the southeast entrance. I take a shortcut and pick up the nearset weapon I see, a pistol. I weigh it in my hand, then adjust the sights as i jog forward. When I finish, I slide it in my belt, and call for backup. "Hey, Rich?" I ask over the headset I'm wearing. "Yeah?" He responds. "Come to the big bush on the south side of the training place. Bring your knock-out dart sniper rifle." I finish as I jump off a railing, swing across a hanging sign, and land in a roll behind the thug. He takes off, but only after he throws a few words my direction. Boy, am I glad I'm wearing my sweat pants, as well as a zip-up hoodie over my T-shirt. I throw the hoodie in a nearby tree and continue to vhase him.

Chapter 4- Ten Years Later

Duck! Juke! Back handspring! I do a quick jab to one thug's chest and a sweep kick to another's calf. I smirk as they get up. "Go ahead. See if I care." I say as they trip over themselves. Then, of course, I take out my shotgun. I think you know what happens next, so I'll leave the bloodbath out of this. "Another set of clones down, cap." I say to my captain. "Good" He responds. "Head back to base. But give the abandoned factory over to your north a look first." He finishes. I send him a 10-4 signal. "Hey, Rich?" I ask my childhood friend. "Yeah?" He questioned. "Get me my sub-machine gun." I order. "That all?" He asks. "No. Get my sunlasses."

Chapter 3

I backed away slowly, staring at the dead guy's face. I knew who he was of course. I saw him every week. He ran the training and begginer bounty stuff. He wasn't my friend or anything, but, still. I would see it happen every night when I slept. The trainer stepped in front of the thug with the knife, and the thug just pushed it into his chest. The trainer slumped down, and the thug did a sort of half-shrug as he took off down the hall. I had to make a choice. Would I follow him, or see what I could do for the trainer? *Note from Author* The choice is yours. Comment your answer. But hurry, before it's too late.

Chapter 2.5

So, did he have a twin? That's what I hoped. Unfortunatey, when the cuffed thug woke up, he was shocked. Crap. Crap. Crap. I thought I was going to die. Why? I don't know. Maybe because the cuffed guy lifted his arms and used his restraints to grab my neck. The free one took out a knife. "Duck!" I heard a voice yell. What the h**l, I was gonna die anyway. I ducked. The cuffs released from my neck. The guy with the knife bolted. Even though I should have steadied myself, I gave chase. I stopped, well, skidded really. What I saw scarred me. I was 12 when I saw my first murder.

Chapter 2

Crap! This punk had some kinda knife! He swung at me like god knows what, but I dodged in a back handspring. As I was upside down, I grabbed the knife with my combat boots and flicked it off into the distance. I came into his chest with my fist, then kicked my boot between his legs. He went down with a little gasp. When he was on his knees in front of me, I punched him in the nose. Hard. He screamed like a banshee! Then he got quiet. I cuffed him. I actvated my headset and said in a calm voice, "Got him. Suspect in custody. Retrieval team requested. Unarmed, but dangerous." "Cut the crap, Jonah!" called my captain, I guy my age who calls himself, like, Blade or Shade or something like that. "Keep your pants on boss. Just come pick him up." I called. "Pick him up what?" Something-ade questioned. "Pick him up sir..." I said under my breath. "You little B***ch!" What was that, boss?" I stated. "I ain't yo boss kid" growled the thug standing up behind me. Oh. Crap. "AHHHHH" I yelled. It worked. He flinched, and I took that chance to sweep my leg around behind him and bring him onto his back. Then I noticed the jerk I fought before I talked with the boss was still unconscious in front of me. Okay. This just got a lot more interesting.

Chapter 1

"Hey, it's mine!" Richie called as he swung his zapper at a beetle.
"Another miss!" I laughed as I once again hit the beetle in the hotspot, causing it to recoil into itself. "Yeah!" I called. "Booya!" as it popped into the familiar glowing mist and adding to my total, which will, in time, give me one of the best bounty hunts in the region. Jonny Gax, aliases Pyro, The Arsenist, Blaze, and almost any other flame related thing that could possibly be used as a name, will be turned in, alive, and give my family name honor. Richie scowled, guessing my thoughts, and gave me a little pop with his zapper. I cursed under my breath, then went to the showcaser to take my next test. "Renegade! Real... Good luck. He's angry."
